Kate's work involves a process of photography, painting, drawing and printmaking, often employing multiple processes within a work.
“My is inspired by the vastness of the ocean and ever-shifting shapes of the sea and sky. In my paintings, I invite reflection on nature’s quiet beauty, attempting to capture the ocean and sky’s subtle interplay of light and depth, which continues to inspire me.“
Kate was born in Sydney. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts with Honours, a Bachelor of Secondary Teaching (Visual Arts), and a Master of Fine Arts majoring in Printmedia, undertaken at Sydney College of the Arts and the Universität der Künste Berlin. Her works have been exhibited in Australia and Europe in several group and solo exhibitions and are held in public and private collections in Australia and Europe.
